About Raqc

Raq-C, originally from Riverside, CA, began her career as an INTERN at a LA based radio station straight out of high school, then continued on to U-92.7 in Palm Springs where she formed part of the morning show as the entertainment reporter. Shorty after, the top Spanish broadcasting company in the country Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) came calling and accepted an on-air position with regional Mexican station La Ley 107.9 in Chicago. Her successful run in Chicago gave her the experience to master the art of radio. SBS made the decision to restructure a radio station in Los Angeles and formed Latino 96.3. Raq-C joined the new station and became a top radio personality. Raq-C credits her free spirit as her inspiration to grab every opportunity that presents itself. She see’s radio as an outlet to express her love, happiness, and ambitions with the masses. "Radio to me is like THERAPY", comments Raq-C. Her passions include music, representing Latino culture in a positive light, and sharing her success to motivate others. She can be heard every morning on Latino 96.3 as she continues to entertain and wake the city up with her personality. In Raq-C’s latest project, she ventures into the world of TV as one of the stars on the reality show Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis and Raq-C, airing Saturdays through September only on Mun2.
