The Feel Good Moment–”Complaining Won’t Get You Very Far”

COMPLAINING WON’T GET YOU VERY FAR

When you hear someone complain,

they are usually unhappy about something.

They are expressing their dissatisfaction with YOU or something YOU are doing.

“Why do I always have to ask you to take out the trash?”

“Why can’t you be more sensitve to my needs?”

“Why do you have to always flirt with the waiters?”

And the complaints go on, and on, and on.

I spoke with a girl the other day who told me she recently broke up with her boyfriend.

She told me they argued too much.

She said,

whenever she had a bad day at work,

She would take her frustrations out on her boyfriend by complaining.

Friends,

when it comes to you expressing your dissatifaction to someone

pick and choose your battles.

Complaining about EVERYTHING won’t get you very far.

All its gonna do is wear and tear on your relationships, and cause someone to resent

you.

“But, Nate, it bothers me when he doesn’t listen” … “When she says she’ll do it and

forgets.”

I know, i know.

But, remember… there is no such thing as a perfect human being.

We all make mistakes,

And we all do things that will annoy SOMONE in some way.

The next time you feel you have a complaint,

weigh the pros and cons of what your complaint will accomplish.

Ask yourself “is the issue I have really WORTH me complaining this time?”

I can guarantee, The less you complain,

the better your relationships will be!
