JDubs has worked in the radio and television industry for over 10 years as on air talent, producer, editor, and artist. He was the West Coast correspondent for “The Roof” television show on Mun2 which was a two hour show that blended music videos in English and Spanish in its programming much like LA 96.3 FM does now with its music. In 2005 he was brought in to LA 96.3 as the executive morning producer as well as voice talent for many segments that aired on the morning shows.
In 2009 JDubs took time off the radio and television industries when the Executive Director for the Mayor’s Office of the 2010 Census asked him to be a part of getting Los Angeles counted in the Census as Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa’s Multimedia Specialist. By updating all of the Mayor’s social online Census sites such as facebook, myspace, twitter, and youtube, JDubs helped make Los Angeles the number one most counted big city in the United States beating NY, Chicago, and other big cities nationwide.
He has returned home to LA 96.3 as Producer/Imaging Director and is also the host of LA 96.3’s The Urban Sounds which will air on LA 96.3FM on Sundays at 8PM starting January 1st..
